Rittal and Eplan to Unveil Innovative Solutions at Automation Fair 2025

Rittal and Eplan to Make Waves at Automation Fair 2025

At the upcoming Automation Fair 2025, held from November 18 to 20 at McCormick Place in Chicago, both Rittal LLC and Eplan LLC are set to unveil three groundbreaking products alongside their strategic partnership with tech giants Microsoft and Rockwell Automation. This unveiling is poised to capitalize on the increasing demand for manufacturing automation systems, which are projected to grow significantly—reaching over $300 billion by 2030 due to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.3%.

Product Launch Highlights

The highlights of the product launch will include:
1. RiLineX Power Platform
2. Eplan Platform 2026
3. VX Hybrid Double Door

Michael Milam, Vice President of Industrial Automation for Rittal North America, expressed enthusiasm about the significance of these new products, stating that they represent a revolutionary vision for industrial automation. The focus will be on integrated engineering and manufacturing solutions designed to streamline design time, simplify production processes, and support scalable deployment.

Neil Komer, Senior Director of Professional Services and Operations at Eplan, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the era of industrial automation has evolved into one driven by data. The collaboration between Rittal and Eplan aims to demonstrate how connected engineering and manufacturing workflows can drive growth for panel builders, machine builders, and manufacturers alike.

Partnership Highlights

This innovative approach will be showcased through numerous collaborative projects with major partners, featuring:
  • - Microsoft and Rockwell Automation: A Liquid Processing System (LPS) demo will illustrate the advantages of centralized data shared between engineering and manufacturing systems.
  • - Rockwell Automation: Integration with Studio 5000 Logix Designer® will enhance workflows between electrical and software engineering, presented at both the Rittal & Eplan Booth (#1519) and the Rockwell Automation Technology Booth (#1148).
  • - Brady Data Automation: A new connector will streamline label creation and application directly from Eplan designs to the Brady Wraptor printer and label applicator, showcased simultaneously at Booth (#1519).

Innovative Product Features

RiLineX Power Platform: This platform offers modular power distribution and is engineered for quick planning and tool-free assembly. It boasts up to 30% reduction in engineering time and 75% savings in assembly time compared to traditional methods.

Eplan Platform 2026: The Eplan exhibit will feature a Digital Twin workflow, implementing a Hypervision Hologram to present a full 3D view of a control cabinet in operation. This will allow for demonstrations on how Eplan’s engineering data bolsters automated fabrication and reduces errors in wiring.

VX Hybrid Double Door: This new enclosure system aims to offer durability in a lightweight, portable configuration, making it suitable for both protection and mobility in various applications. It is designed for seamless field deployment and maintenance ease.

Expert Consultations

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of expert consultations available at Booth #1519, where planners can reserve one-on-one discussions to tackle project-specific challenges and queries.
