Meiko Network Japan Launches Nakadami Academy

Meiko Network Japan, headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is proud to announce the launch of the Nakadami Academy, a public learning institution located in Nakadate Town, Aomori Prefecture. This initiative will kick off on May 20, 2025, focusing on delivering personalized educational support to elementary and junior high school students within the town. This program aligns with the company’s medium-term management plan, emphasizing collaborations with local governments to enhance educational assistance in regional areas.

Meiko Network Japan has a proven track record of operating individual tutoring schools, namely Meiko Gijuku and Jiritsu Gakushu RED, across the country. Our mission is to create a society where children from all backgrounds can access quality educational opportunities. Through deeper collaboration with local communities, we strive to address educational disparities and establish a robust learning support system for children. Nakadate Town, recognizing the importance of strengthening educational frameworks, has set a goal to rectify educational gaps and enhance basic academic skills for its youth. The establishment of the Nakadami Academy reflects this vision by fostering good study habits and providing a safe space for students.

The Nakadami Academy will offer classes at six local schools, including Nakazato Junior High, Okupoko Junior High, Nakazato Elementary, Takeda Elementary, Usuki Elementary, and Okupoko Elementary. Students from 4th grade through 9th grade will benefit from completely free participation, which includes the cost of textbooks.

The academy will employ a hybrid learning model, integrating individualized instruction with AI-driven tablet learning. This approach ensures that students receive tailored support according to their pace and understanding, covering a broad spectrum from foundational skills to high school entrance exam preparation. Furthermore, additional assistance on school assignments and overcoming challenges in difficult subjects will be provided, ensuring that each student feels supported in their learning journey. For the inaugural year, we anticipate enrolling approximately 100 students.
