Celebrate Traditional Kabuki Culture with Afternoon Tea at Mercure Tokyo Hibiya

Discover the Unique Kabuki Afternoon Tea at Mercure Tokyo Hibiya

The Mercure Tokyo Hibiya hotel, located in Tokyo's Chiyoda district and managed by Toshiaki Suzuki, invites you to indulge in an extraordinary afternoon tea collaboration with Kabuki starting from August 18, 2025. The venue for this delightful experience is the hotel's French restaurant, Café & Bar La Seine.

Inspired by the rich theatrical culture of Hibiya, the hotel's design reflects "Stage Art", creating an immersive setting for guests. Close by, the renowned Kabukiza and Shinbashi Enbujo theaters in Ginza are stages for Japan's celebrated performing arts, including Kabuki, which is recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Following a successful launch in March, the Kabuki Afternoon Tea returns with a fresh theme inspired by the upcoming performance of "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura" scheduled for October. This afternoon tea promises to transport guests into the enchanting world of Kabuki through a carefully curated menu that celebrates seasonal flavors.
