Discover Jinji Matsuri 2026: A Unique HR Culture Festival

On October 10th and 11th, 2026, the HR community will gather at a unique venue in Okutama, Tokyo, as Trustyyle operates the Jinji Matsuri 2026. This event, known as a “cultural festival for human resources,” brings HR professionals together to share, learn, and grow, transcending companies and job titles.

What is Jinji Matsuri?

The Jinji Matsuri, or HR Festival, aims to foster collaboration among HR professionals, focusing on areas like recruitment, labor, organizational development, and people management. By using a renovated school as the venue, participants can engage in exhibits, discussion sessions, and networking activities like campfires and sauna experiences, creating opportunities for spontaneous learning and connections not typical of conventional conferences.

The Significance of the Event

As the HR landscape evolves due to advancements in AI and increasing talent shortages, the need for specialized knowledge and networking intensifies. The Jinji Matsuri addresses this need by offering a retreat where HR professionals can escape their daily routines in the renovated school, known as OKUTAMA+. The two-day event encourages active participation and engagement, allowing attendees to step away from their usual roles and connect with one another as fellow human resources enthusiasts.

Year Two: Expanding the Experience

Following its successful inaugural event in 2025, which saw the participation of 129 individuals in around 40 mini-seminars and workshops, the 2026 event is set to accommodate 200 participants daily, featuring over 80 exhibits and sessions. More than just lectures, the festival allows attendees to share themes and organize their own workshops, bringing diverse knowledge and perspectives to the forefront.

Highlights from 2025

The inaugural event welcomed participants into classrooms, laboratories, and even home economics rooms, where they participated in discussions ranging from workplace regulations to management skills. With the success of engaging activities, including group discussions by campfires, the feedback highlighted the festival's distinct atmosphere. Participants appreciated the fun, immersive environment that felt more like a celebration than a traditional conference.
