POSSE Hosts a Groundbreaking Programming Competition Finale



The programming community for university students, known as POSSE, organized a thrilling finale for its team development event on April 13, 2025, sponsored by Anti-pattern Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo. This finale featured approximately 70 university students competing with their projects developed over the program duration. One of the highlights was a keynote address by Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi, who shared insights into Japan's vision for Society 5.0 and the expectations for future human resources.

Two teams, Avocode and Gamma Burst, were awarded the top honors in their respective categories during this memorable competition.

Addressing Japan's Digital Skill Gap


In today's rapidly digitizing world, Japan faces an urgent need to nurture talents with advanced digital skills and practical capabilities. POSSE serves as a community aimed at enabling university students to acquire hands-on experience through team development, preparing them for a variety of career paths.

The event collaborated with Lancers Inc., which provided development themes for beginner programs, and Link and Motivation Co., Ltd., which repeated its support for the intermediate program. Over approximately eight weeks, students worked on practical team development projects.

Anti-pattern is committed to fostering digital talents who will thrive in society by continuing its collaborative initiatives with partner companies involved in the POSSE's activities.
