Coconut Grove Arts Festival 2025 Welcomes First Horizon Bank as Key Sponsor for Its 61st Edition

61st Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival Returns on Presidents' Day Weekend 2025

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival® (CGAF), one of South Florida's most prestigious outdoor art events, is set to make its grand return during Presidents' Day weekend, specifically on February 15, 16, and 17, 2025. Produced by Loud And Live and proudly presented by First Horizon Bank, this festival promises to attract tens of thousands of attendees from around the world for its exciting 61st edition.

First Horizon Bank, esteemed as the presenting sponsor, greatly emphasizes the festival's relevance and its deep ties to the local community. As noted by Dave Hill, Chairman of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival Board of Directors, "We are grateful for First Horizon Bank's commitment to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. Together, we will continue providing a first-class experience for our attendees, artists, and shared local community." This partnership will enhance the festival experience significantly, thus maintaining its status as a top acclaimed arts festival in the nation.

Orlando Roche, Market President of Miami-Dade at First Horizon Bank, stated, "As the presenting sponsor of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, we are honored to support one of the most cherished cultural events in our county. The festival not only showcases the vibrant creativity and diversity of our community but also aligns with our overarching commitment to enhance Miami's cultural landscape. We are excited about the festival's ability to inspire connections among artists, residents, and all visitors while we continue to invest in the rich tapestry that makes Miami extraordinary."

Since its inception in 1963, the CGAF has evolved into a hallmark of the South Florida cultural calendar and is globally recognized as one of the premier outdoor art festivals in the country. Tony Albelo, President of Loud And Live, expressed, "Producing the Coconut Grove Arts Festival is a privilege and a passion. This historic event merges art and culture with community in an inspiring manner. Each year, we aim to elevate the experience, ensuring it remains an incredible celebration of creativity and the vibrant essence of Coconut Grove."

For the 2025 festival, a rigorous selection process led to invites for 285 talented artists across various disciplines, including mixed media, painting, photography, digital art, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture. Camille Marchese, Executive Director, shared her sentiments about the competitive nature of the festival: "One of my favorite (and hardest) moments each year is hitting that 'send' button to notify the artists. With so many talented applicants, not everyone can be invited. While many artists return each year, we are thrilled to welcome over 100 new talents joining us for the festival."

The legacy of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival also includes a rich history of commemorative posters designed by artists such as Romero Britto and Guy Harvey. The identity of the poster artist for this year remains a surprise, adding an extra element of excitement to the festival. Although the festival itself lasts just three days, its commitment to advancing arts education within South Florida extends throughout the year.

For the past six decades, the Coconut Grove Arts Historical Association has aimed to nurture the next generation of artists. Proceeds from the festival annually support a selection of programs designed to positively impact the community. Over the last three years, CGAF has contributed upwards of $200,000 in scholarships, including $144,000 for Miami Dade High School graduates and $90,000 for students at Florida International University.

The 61st Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival, presented by First Horizon Bank, will unfold in the beautiful surroundings of Coconut Grove, making it the ideal backdrop for visitors to enjoy artistic displays and Miami’s rich culture. Tickets are available now, with General Admission starting at $25 plus additional fees. The festival spans McFarlane Road, South Bayshore Drive, and Pan American Drive, located just south of downtown Miami, adjacent to the scenic Biscayne Bay.
