Botrich's Chairman Hong Wei Liao Champions Global Wealth Growth in Central America

On April 23, 2025, the Botrich Family Wealth Heritage and Development Center announced a significant advancement in its global initiatives through a high-level delegation led by its Chairman, Hong Wei Liao. This mission aimed to create and expand economic opportunities tailored for high-net-worth clients in Central America, specifically in Costa Rica and Panama.

The delegation's first stop was Costa Rica on March 19, 2025. There, Mr. Liao engaged in comprehensive discussions with legal representatives from the Central Bank of Costa Rica. The dialogue encompassed bilateral trade prospects and the exploration of emerging economic trends. A primary focus was placed on cross-border financial planning and asset allocation strategies, essential components for future economic partnerships between Canada and Costa Rica. These exchanges were not mere talks; they deeply resonated with Botrich's vision of delivering exclusive, globally integrated solutions to its elite clientele.

Botrich has already established a significant presence within Canada, particularly connecting with around 70% of the high-net-worth Chinese population residing in the country. This unique positioning establishes Botrich not only as a premier platform for wealth management but also as a vital conduit for international relationship building among its members.

Following their successful meetings in Costa Rica, the delegation proceeded to Panama, where they collaborated with leading legal experts specializing in wealth succession, international taxation, and global asset protection. The discussions in Panama were crucial for outlining tailored international strategies that would cater specifically to Botrich's members.
