Maritime Industrial Base Program Supports STEM Education in Ohio



The Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Program is making significant strides in enhancing educational opportunities for Ohio students. On February 5, 2026, the program announced it would fund statewide access to Learning Blade, provided by eDynamic Learning, for all Ohio schools and districts. This comprehensive initiative aims to introduce all students from grades 5 to 9 to the fascinating fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), along with computer science and advanced manufacturing.

Empowering Students with Career Pathways



This ambitious partnership is particularly timely as Ohio has decided to phase out exemptions for Career-Based Learning requirements, mandating that every student complete specific coursework or experiences to meet graduation requirements. Learning Blade offers a well-funded solution for schools struggling to meet these new standards. By joining forces with the Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA), Learning Blade aims to forge stronger relationships with educators throughout the state, emphasizing a collective commitment to cultivate a skilled workforce.
