The Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) is back for its sixth edition, scheduled to take place from November 3 to 5, 2026, at the Gran Via exhibition center of Fira de Barcelona. This key global event is dedicated to enhancing the transition towards sustainable, inclusive, and smart urban mobility solutions. The theme for this edition, "Mobility Solutions: Making a Concrete Impact," aptly captures the essence of the discussions set to unfold as over 5,000 attendees, including 240 speakers and 200 exhibitors, converge in Barcelona.

The collaboration between Fira de Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility, part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), underscores the congress's objective to explore innovative tools and strategies that cities can adopt for building the future of urban transport. The agenda will dive into crucial topics such as "Mobility Data Spaces," the role of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in integrating multimodal systems, and the importance of managing curb space and parking as strategic infrastructure. Additionally, there will be significant discussions focused on the rise of autonomous vehicles (AVs) within urban mobility frameworks.

The Program Overview

The TMWC will feature three main stages: the Main Stage, the "Move Better" stage, and the "Shaping Mobility" stage. Here, thought leaders and industry experts will share insights into developing resilient and integrated mobility systems, transitioning to new-generation public transport, and effective urban space management in line with the electric mobility revolution. Noteworthy issues such as battery waste management and the circular economy in electric mobility will also be addressed.

Some of the confirmed speakers include Lukas Neckermann, founder of Urban Places Lab and co-founder of PAVE Europe; Axel Volkery, head of innovation and urban mobility at the European Commission's DG MOVE; and Teresa Riesgo Alcaide, secretary-general for innovation at Spain's Ministry of Science and Innovation.

An integral part of TMWC 2026 is the exhibition space and the Innovation Playground, where pioneering solutions from the mobility ecosystem will be showcased. In a continuation of its tradition, TMWC 2026 will run alongside the Smart City Expo World Congress, Tomorrow.Blue Economy focused on sustainable ocean resource use, the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit, and the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress. Collectively, these events are expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors, establishing Fira de Barcelona as a central hub for urban innovation on a global scale.
