Participants will use their smartphones to activate the AR feature and capture memorable moments with Bear-kun. Summer festivals in Japan are a time for family, friends, and fun, from enjoying festival food like takoyaki and yakisoba to watching spectacular fireworks display. We want you to frame these cherished moments through the lens of Bear-kun.

Participants are encouraged to snap photos that encapsulate their summer festival experiences with AR Bear-kun. Here are a few inspirations:

• - Yukata Moments: Create a beautiful scene of you and your friends or family dressed in traditional yukatas, capturing the night sky filled with fireworks.

Contest Details

Submission Period: From July 10th to July 16th, 2026, until 23:59.
To enter, follow these simple steps:
1. Use your smartphone to scan the QR code to launch the official AR Bear-kun (no app needed).
2. Take a fun photo with Bear-kun.
3. Post your photo on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag #Bear-kunARExperience. Note: Your account must be public to qualify, as private accounts are not eligible.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated based on their relevance to the theme, creativity, composition, colors, storytelling aspect, and expression of joy and safety.

Prizes

Three winners will receive the Bear-kun Original Stationery Set comprising four items: a clear file, memo pads, a ballpoint pen, and washi tape. These handy items will allow you to keep Bear-kun close in your everyday life, whether at work or at home.

Winners will be announced via direct message on their submitted SNS account by July 17th, 2026, and featured on the Bear-kun special site by September 30, 2026.
