Anton Chilton Takes the Helm as CEO at Baxter Planning

Baxter Planning, a leader in service supply chain solutions, has made a significant executive change by appointing Anton Chilton as the new Chief Executive Officer. This strategic appointment comes as part of a planned leadership transition following the successful eight-year tenure of Chuck Moeling. Starting from January 21, 2026, Chilton will be tasked with steering Baxter Planning towards its vision of being the leading autonomous planning platform for service supply chain management.

Chilton, who brings over 30 years of global leadership experience in technology, has a substantial track record in overseeing transformations, expanding SaaS enterprises, and making impactful customer impacts at scale. His most recent role was as CEO of QAD Inc, a prominent SaaS provider for global manufacturing and supply chain firms, where he expertly directed the company’s shift to cloud-based services while spearheading strategic initiatives that solidified both product development and market positioning.

Prior to his tenure at QAD, Chilton held several leadership positions across sales, marketing, and professional services within various technology organizations. He is also a board member at Seeq Corporation, a global leader in industrial analytics and AI-based solutions, further showcasing his expertise in leveraging software for operational innovation. With a deep understanding of enterprise software, digital transformation, and operational growth, Chilton is poised to lead Baxter Planning as it continues to innovate and expand its global footprint.
