I-ne, an innovative company based in Osaka, announced a strategic partnership with Fixstars, a leader in performance engineering technology. Together, they have embarked on a joint research project focused on the advanced utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing through the integration of AI agents into I-ne's proprietary brand management system, IPTOS. This collaboration sets the stage for a transformative approach in decision-making processes within marketing by ensuring enhanced speed and quality.
The project will be guided by Ryosuke Okuda, a prominent advisor with extensive experience in AI startups and is currently the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Fixstars Investment. Okuda also holds roles as a board member and CTO at Preferred Networks, as well as project manager at SAKANA AI. His involvement is crucial as it brings a wealth of knowledge in generative AI and machine learning, coupled with access to a global research and development network. This combination aims to accelerate the creation of a unique, practical marketing digital transformation (DX) model.
The core objective is to integrate next-gen AI agents into IPTOS, utilizing cutting-edge computational technologies like generative AI and quantum annealing. By reengineering initial stages such as research, conceptualization, and hypothesis testing, the project intends to significantly improve the speed and quality of decision-making.
Fixstars will contribute its expertise in optimizing algorithms for a variety of industries alongside its software acceleration techniques and knowledge of quantum annealing technology. The project will also leverage Fixstars' AIStation workstations, equipped with local large language models (LLMs) and high-performance GPUs, to facilitate AI training and inference in an on-premise environment. Okuda will provide strategic technological guidance aligned with global AI research trends, leading to a model that transcends conventional AI implementation and evolves into a powerful 'accelerator of thought.'
Looking ahead, the developed AI agents will be gradually introduced into internal operations at I-ne, supporting the marketing strategy formulation and the early stages of product development. The ultimate goal is to achieve decision-making capabilities that surpass human thought speed, paving the way for practical models that utilize quantum annealing for marketing judgments through continued verification and empirical studies.
Miki Satoshi, the CEO of Fixstars, commented, 'The performance engineering expertise that Fixstars has cultivated over the years accelerates AI learning and inference processes, making implementations more efficient. We believe this will be a strong driving force in the development and implementation of the next-gen AI agent. By integrating our advanced computational technology with I-ne's cutting-edge marketing foundation, we are confident that we can realize a decision-making process with unprecedented speed and accuracy.'
On the other hand, Yohei Onishi, the CEO of I-ne, stated, 'By integrating next-gen AI agents into our independently constructed IPTOS, we will achieve decision-making that balances quality and speed, leading to sustainable growth. This collaborative research, which brings together the world's leading knowledge and technology, represents a significant step toward realizing our vision of incorporating AI as a 'partner in thought' within marketing.'
