Susan holds a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in history from Whitman College, located in Walla Walla, Washington. During her law school years, she gained valuable practical experience by clerking for Judge K.J. Montgomery for two significant years in Cleveland.

Her professional journey has led her to be admitted to practice in the states of Washington and Oregon, and she is authorized to represent clients in the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, as well as the District of Oregon.
