The Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is hosting a special summer dining experience at its restaurant, Bel Tempo. From July 15 to August 31, guests can indulge in an exquisite buffet that brings the rich culinary heritage of Kyushu and Okinawa to the heart of the city.
A Culinary Journey to Southern Japan
At this year's 'Kyushu and Okinawa Fair', the buffet promises to showcase a variety of dishes that celebrate the bountiful ingredients sourced from these regions. Some highlights include the famous Oita-style "Ryu-kyu-style tai carpaccio," which features fresh, local fish skillfully prepared to highlight its natural flavors. For noodle lovers, there’s a delightful representation of Nagasaki's traditional cuisine with both "Chanpon" and "Sara-udon" served in one dish, offering a taste of two beloved favorites.
Additionally, guests can get creative at the tantalizing taco bar, featuring succulent SAGA beef and black pork from Kagoshima, along with a colorful array of toppings, allowing for a customizable culinary experience.
For meat lovers, the chef will be serving mouthwatering roast beef alongside fresh sushi, amidst a stunning setup that includes about 60 different dishes. This buffet not only invites guests to eat but also to indulge in a lively atmosphere filled with the excitement of live cooking.
