Four Zones of Culinary Exploration
The festival was divided into four distinct zones:
1.
Edo Zone: Celebrated traditional Edo cuisine including sushi, unagi, tempura, and soba.
2.
Tokyo Delicious Zone: Showcased popular eateries reflecting today’s Tokyo culinary scene.
3.
Food Journey Zone: Offered visitors a taste of regional specialties from across Japan.
4.

The vibrant atmosphere of the venue encouraged social media sharing as people explored both traditional and innovative dishes, with various food vendors receiving cheers from delighted patrons. Additionally, the Family-Friendly Market area indicated a thoughtful design, aimed at families enjoying one hand-held gourmet while mingling with artisans.
Local Alcohol and Artisan Crafts
At “Izakaya TOKYO,” visitors could savor locally crafted sake, shochu, gin, and wine. Guests applauded the variety of dishes paired with fresh produce from Toyosu Market, igniting discussions about Tokyo's agricultural wealth and culinary capabilities.
At the “TOKYO SAKE & SPIRITS MARKET,” connoisseurs gained insights from experts about the unique selling points of the finest local spirits, escalating interest among enthusiasts to discover their new favorite beverages.
Chef Demonstration Showcases
“Chef Demonstration Shows” saw top chefs perform live cooking demonstrations, where they discussed ingredients, cooking methods, and stories behind their dishes. Attendees were captivated, capturing the moments on their phones and taking notes as the artistry of culinary creation unfolded right in front of them.
Electrifying Live Performances
Infusing a festive spirit into the atmosphere, the “TOKYO Night Show - MATSURI” blended tradition with innovation, featuring a variety of dynamic performances including Yosakoi dancing. Participants gathered around stages set in both the Stone and Light Square and Flower Square, where live music performances by jazz bands and DJs prompted spontaneous applause and cheers, enveloping the area in electric energy.
Family-Friendly Amenities
Committing to a welcoming environment for families, roofs were installed over 80% of seating areas, allowing guests to enjoy meals without worrying about the weather.
