On May 28th, 2025, a distinctive wine course will be held at the "Ginza NAGANO" antenna shop in Tokyo. This event celebrates the achievements of Japanese wine, specifically the Sankuzer Chardonnay, which recently earned a prestigious gold medal at the International Wine Competition, "Chardonnay du Monde 2025," and secured a spot among the top 10 wines globally. This is a rare opportunity to delve into the world of Japanese wines, guided by notable experts in the field.
Event Overview
This enriching wine course will be led by Junya Hanaoka, an official ambassador from the Nagano Prefecture Wine Association. Junya will be joined by Kyohei Nomura, the head winemaker at Sankuzer. Attendees can expect an immersive 90-minute experience dedicated to exploring the essence of Sankuzer wines, including the philosophy behind their crafting, unique characteristics, and thoughtful pairings with local delicacies.
Throughout the evening, participants will sample five exclusive wines, which are usually only available at the Sankuzer estate in Nagano. Highlights from the tasting list include:
