On March 2nd, 2026, a seminar hosted by JPI (Japan Planning Institute) in Tokyo will bring together industry professionals to discuss significant reforms in airport management in Hokkaido. The guest speaker for the event is Masaki Yamazaki, the President of Hokkaido Airport Co., who will present an in-depth analysis of the potential for integrated operations across seven airports in the region.

Overview of the Seminar


The seminar, titled "Reforms in Airport Management in Hokkaido: Possibilities for Integrated Operation of Seven Airports," aims to shed light on major developments and strategies that can be embraced for better airport management. Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from Yamazaki, who previously played a critical role in establishing the concessions framework for various airports throughout Japan during his tenure at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).

  • - 2 or more from the same institution: ¥32,560 each (tax included)
  • - Local government employees can register up to two people for ¥11,000 each (tax included, limited to in-person/live).
