Overview of Lalaport Anjo


Lalaport Anjo is a major commercial facility located in Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture. With 215 stores, including 31 that are premiering in the Aichi area, this four-story shopping complex is designed to cater to families and visitors of all age groups. Not only does it feature a spacious rooftop park covering around 3,800 square meters, providing a delightful outdoor experience, but it also hosts a large stadium court that can accommodate over 1,000 people.

To manage the anticipated influx of visitors effectively, the parking lot at Lalaport Anjo offers space for approximately 3,500 vehicles. Various measures have been implemented to alleviate congestion, making the shopping experience as seamless as possible for customers.

The Edge Guide Technology


As part of its commitment to enhancing customer experiences, Neural Group has installed five edge AI cameras to power the Edge Guide system. These cameras continuously gather data on vehicle outflow and the number of cars waiting to exit over a one-hour period. This data is then used to determine real-time congestion levels at all exits of the parking facility.

In response to the congestion cues, LED signage located at five strategic locations throughout the parking structure is updated automatically, guiding drivers to the least crowded exits. This solution ensures that visitors can smoothly navigate their way out of the parking areas, minimizing wait times and enhancing overall satisfaction.

The Edge Guide has been developed under the technical supervision of Mobilis Consulting, integrating advanced vehicle-flow simulation and the thoughtful design of signage placement and logic. This dynamic solution is tailored to respond to real-time conditions, ensuring that signage provides the most accurate and timely guidance.
