Afcons Expands into Europe with Major Railway Project in Croatia

On May 11, 2026, Afcons officially announced that it had been chosen as the most suitable bidder for the rehabilitation and construction of railway lines in Croatia. The project in Croatia involves reconstructing an existing railway line and constructing a second line to enhance rail connectivity within the region. The total cost of the project is estimated at €677.07 million, excluding taxes, a clear indication of the significant investment and resources Afcons is ready to commit to this endeavor.
