PM Award 2025 Finalists Announced
The PMI Japan Chapter, led by President Tsutomu Hashiyama, has announced the finalists for the "PM Award 2025," recognizing excellent projects in Japan. Eight projects have been selected as finalists, aiming to showcase outstanding contributions in project management.
Presentation Event
The selected finalists will present their projects during the "Finalist Pitch" event scheduled for
September 5 and
September 10, 2025. These presentations will be aired on-demand until
September 23, 2025, allowing viewers to engage and participate in polling to select the best project of the year.

Here are the chosen finalists categorized into Small & Medium and Large divisions:
Small & Medium Division:

PACIFICO Sustainable Web Design - A project by PACIFICO Yokohama that revamped its website to address environmental concerns, reducing carbon emissions significantly while improving usability.

en.to Project - Renovating an abandoned house in Nagano prefecture to create a community space, bridging connections between local residents and visitors.
3.
Shibuya Font Initiative - A collaboration involving designers and people with disabilities to develop fonts, promoting social inclusion through creativity.

PP&M Forum - A collaborative platform in the pharmaceutical sector focused on knowledge sharing to expedite access to innovative medicines.
Large Division:
1.
Yoshikei Kitchen! - A meal delivery service focused on the welfare sector, designed to adapt to the needs of facilities, enhancing meal options and convenience.
2.
DX Literacy Education Project - Aiming to cultivate a culture receptive to digital transformation within Sumitomo Heavy Industries, targeting around 9,000 employees nationwide.
3.
Establishment of Tokyo Science University - A merger of Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Tokyo Institute of Technology, showcasing cross-disciplinary collaboration in education.
4.
Next-Generation Energy Storage System Development - Omron's project focused on renewable energy utilization, developing advanced storage systems in response to growing natural disasters.
