To commemorate this achievement, the hotel will unveil the exclusive "Four Types of Yamazaki 2020 Edition" set starting November 1, 2025, at its renowned bar, Orient Express.

This limited-edition offering consists of four carefully selected bottles of the acclaimed Yamazaki single malt whisky. Each bottle represents the rich history and craftsmanship of the Yamazaki distillery, showcasing a unique blend of flavors that have matured through different cask processes. Guests are invited to experience a special moment in the luxurious and atmospheric setting of the bar, enhancing the enjoyment of this exceptional whisky.

The Four Types of Yamazaki 2020 Edition

Available exclusively in a limited quantity of just four sets, priced at 400,000 yen, the set includes:

1. Bordeaux Wine Cask 2020 Edition
This whisky boasts a rich, velvety sweetness combined with a tart fruit flavor, a result of its maturation in Bordeaux wine casks. Each sip offers a complex and full-bodied texture, reflecting the meticulous selection of only the finest new pot stills matured in these casks.

2. Spanish Oak 2020 Edition
Known for rich flavors, the Spanish oak casks impart a depth of tannins that fosters bold aromas in the malt whisky. This edition highlights concentrated sweetness, citrus notes, and a bouquet of rich fruit aromas, creating a unique tasting experience.

3. Peated Malt 2020 Edition
Crafted from malt that has been dried over stronger peat fires, this selection offers a distinctive and robust profile. The careful process ensures that each bottle captures a unique essence of smoky flavors, providing a memorable sip for aficionados.

4. Puncheon 2020 Edition
Utilizing custom-made puncheon barrels, each boasting a significant capacity of approximately 480 liters, this whisky undergoes a gentle maturation process. This technique allows for the full expression of the spirit's inherent flavors, resulting in a rich and complex experience.

Experience at Orient Express Bar

The bar, inspired by the luxurious Orient Express train that traverses the European continent, provides an opulent atmosphere where guests can immerse themselves in an elegant environment. The bar operates from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with last orders at 10:30 PM. However, please note that it is closed every Sunday and public holidays in November.
