The Return of a Beloved Bistro: Bistro Shiro
Bistro Shiro, a renowned seafood-centric French restaurant that has been adored by food enthusiasts from Ebisu to Hiroo since its opening in 2008, is set to restart its culinary journey. On
October 17, 2025, the bistro will unveil its new location in Marunouchi's
Brick Square, promising a delightful experience that blends sophisticated flavors with seasonal ingredients.
The Concept
Named ‘Shiro’—which translates to ‘white’—this establishment signifies a bridge connecting the sea to the dining table. The essence of the name conveys two core ideas: the focus on fish dishes that pair beautifully with white wine, and the comforting ambiance likened to a ‘Château’ where guests feel welcomed.
Inside this newly designed bistro, guests will find a serene space accentuated by antique furnishings arranged in a shaker style, creating an elegant urban atmosphere. It’s a setting where joy is expanded through the vibrant colors of the seasons.
About Bistro Shiro
Originally opened in Ebisu in 2008 as a unique fish-focused bistro, Bistro Shiro quickly gained fame among celebrities and foodies alike. In 2017, the restaurant relocated to Hiroo, but by 2022, it faced unfortunate closure due to building constraints. After a brief hiatus, Bistro Shiro is thrilled to announce its transformation and new beginning in Marunouchi, ensuring the legacy of its celebrated seafood dishes persists.
