Hirasol Energy Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Bunkyo, Tokyo, CEO: Lee Min) has launched a new initiative aimed at integrating distributed energy resources, such as solar power and storage batteries, into what is referred to as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This facility acts like a single power generation unit and will offer support for businesses exploring energy operations based on this concept. The company will provide assistance covering device control, market operations, electricity applications, design, and construction through its J-EMS platform. The program is expected to start operations in April 2026.
