The Iwanami Jimbocho Building, a cinema with over fifty years of rich history, is slated for demolition, making way for a unique immersive theater experience titled 'Our Movie Theater'. This innovative production is scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 31, 2026, during which audiences can participate in a groundbreaking world-line selection game. The excitement began on July 1, 2026, when tickets for the first half of the show (running from August 1 to August 15) went on sale. Remarkably, within just 24 hours, over 1,000 tickets were sold, with numerous sessions already sold out.

As a response to this overwhelming demand, tickets for the second half of the show (from August 16 to August 31) will be available starting July 8, 2026, at 6 PM. Given that the building will become inaccessible after this event, this immersive experience is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With a maximum capacity of 24 participants per session, it is highly recommended to secure your tickets as soon as possible.
