Bryan High School Students Progress on Mini Monster Jam Truck Build with Northern Tool's Support

Building Futures: Bryan High School Students' Exciting Mini Monster Jam Truck Project

In an inspiring educational initiative, students from Bryan High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program are diligently working on a year-long class project to construct a one-third scale mini Monster Jam truck. This exciting venture is part of Northern Tool + Equipment's Tools for the Trades™ program, which seeks to inspire students to explore careers in the skilled trades.

The project officially kicked off in September, and since then, students have been actively engaged in drafting the design and strategizing the build as a cohesive team. Their passion and enthusiasm are evident, with one student, Finian C., expressing, “I like the idea that I can build up a skill. Once you get that really good bead, and that really good weld, it's just an amazing feeling.” Such hands-on experiences not only enhance their technical skills but also foster teamwork and project management abilities.

As part of this educational program, the students are receiving professional-grade tools and equipment, enabling them to take their craftsmanship to the next level. The culmination of their hard work will be showcased during a significant reveal event scheduled for June 7 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. This event will be a highlight, drawing attention not just to the students' accomplishments but also to the importance of trade education.

The Tools for the Trades program, which facilitates projects like the Monster Jam build, addresses the ongoing trade labor shortage. By donating high-quality tools and equipment to high school CTE programs, Northern Tool + Equipment is creating pathways for students to develop skills that are increasingly relevant in today's job market.

With approximately 40 years of experience, Northern Tool + Equipment has established itself as a prominent supplier of tools and equipment to both do-it-yourselfers and industry professionals. Their commitment to customer service and support is reflected in their nearly 140 retail locations and robust online presence, making it easy for customers to find the right tools for their projects.

For those interested in tracking the students’ progress, Northern Tool + Equipment actively shares updates on various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. By following along, supporters and community members can witness firsthand the evolution of this unique project.

As the project unfolds, it serves as a testament to the creativity and determination of Bryan High School's students. They are not only building a mini monster truck but also crafting their futures in the skilled trades, equipped with the knowledge and experience to thrive. The partnership between Bryan High School and Northern Tool + Equipment exemplifies the power of community support in fostering educational growth and opportunity. Stay tuned for more updates leading up to the big reveal event in June!
