Supporting Family Caregivers: Care Out Loud's Second Year Celebrations and Resources

The challenges faced by caregivers are immense, affecting their ability to manage work and personal life, especially when they must care for loved ones who are aging or suffering from illness. In the United States, approximately 25% of the population finds themselves in this role, which often comes with overwhelming responsibilities and emotional strain. To address this pressing issue, Care Out Loud, the initiative by the One Family Foundation, is returning for a second year, aimed at providing caregivers with the support they need to navigate these complex circumstances.

The Mission Behind Care Out Loud

Founded by actor Bradley Cooper in 2013, the One Family Foundation was established to honor his father and assist families affected by cancer. Over the years, the Foundation's mission has expanded to encompass all caregivers, leading to the launch of the Care Out Loud campaign. This initiative seeks to connect millions of caregivers with free tools, practical resources, and a supportive community that acknowledges the hard work and dedication involved in caregiving.

"Caregiving comes with a lot of questions, and finding answers can feel like a job in itself," says Anneliese Barron, the Executive Director of the One Family Foundation. The campaign's goal is to simplify these questions, offering practical answers and connecting caregivers with resources that can make their lives easier.

Expanded Support and Benefits for Caregivers

Running from November 1 through November 14, 2026, CVS Pharmacy, as a key partner of Care Out Loud, is providing various resources and savings opportunities for caregivers. CVS ExtraCare members can earn $10 in ExtraBucks Rewards when they spend $30 on select Procter & Gamble (PG) products such as Tide and Always Discreet. "Caregivers balance countless responsibilities, and access to trusted products, savings, and health information can make a meaningful difference in their daily routines," explains Tim Dolan, Interim Vice President of Consumer Health Care at CVS Health.

Celebrate the Caregivers

On November 8, the Caregiving Hall of Fame event will take place at CVS Pharmacy in Philadelphia, celebrating the invaluable contributions of everyday caregivers. This unique event will transform the CVS parking lot into a space that honors and recognizes caregivers, sharing inspiring stories and highlighting the essential resources available to them. Caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with CVS pharmacists, learn about essential health and wellness information, and discover the supporting PG products in their caregiving journey.

Building Awareness and Community

Through initiatives like Care Out Loud, the One Family Foundation is working diligently to foster a culture of care that elevates the status of caregivers. The significance of caregivers must not be underestimated; they play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of life for millions of individuals across the country. Such campaigns raise awareness about the challenges faced by caregivers and encourage society to support these unsung heroes.
