Bentley Motors Unveils Innovative Business Strategy Beyond 100+ for Electric Era

Bentley Motors' Groundbreaking Business Strategy: Beyond 100+

On November 5, 2025, Bentley Motors held a live-streamed press conference from its headquarters in Crewe, where it updated its long-term business strategy, known as "Beyond 100+". This initiative reflects the brand's commitment to fully electrify its range by 2035 while maintaining its rich heritage of luxury and craftsmanship.

Dr. Frank-Stefan Walliser, the Chairman and CEO, unveiled a new product roadmap that takes market trends and customer preferences into account, ensuring the continuing availability of internal combustion engine (ICE) and plug-in hybrid models. This reflects a flexible approach to respond to varying customer demands.

Among the highlights of the strategy is the introduction of Bentley's first luxury urban SUV, designed as an innovative entry into a new segment of the market. Set to be officially revealed by the end of 2026 and released in 2027, this model boasts an impressive charging capability, able to provide power for approximately 160 km of driving in just 7 minutes, signifying one of the industry's fastest charging performances.

Although the specific name of this model has yet to be disclosed, it will join Bentley's existing lineup, combining a compact design that is under 5 meters in length with the exceptional driving experience and craftsmanship that the brand is known for.

Moreover, the demand for the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models has been notably high, necessitating a reassessment of Bentley's original target of complete electrification by 2035. This indicates that while the brand is moving towards a sustainable future, it remains committed to providing offerings that resonate with existing customer preferences.

Looking ahead to early 2025, Bentley plans to introduce the ice-powered Bentayga Speed into its lineup, alongside a limited-production performance model that will not feature hybrid technology.

At the core of the Beyond 100+ strategy lies a significant overhaul of Crewe's production infrastructure, aiming to build a solid foundation for the future of Bentley and its employees. Bentley's Crewe production facility has already achieved significant advancements, establishing its status as a leading carbon-neutral certified factory. The famed historic building “A1” is currently preparing for the assembly of the brand's first fully electric model, signifying an exciting new chapter for Bentley.

This ambitious project also includes the largest self-investment initiative in Bentley's history, with a cutting-edge paint shop expected to commence operations in 2026. Earlier this year, a new design center and a consolidated logistics center were completed, marking Crewe's transformation into a next-generation manufacturing hub suitable for the age of electrification.

As the brand advances towards a digital, flexible, and high-value manufacturing paradigm, it aims to set a new benchmark in the automotive industry.

In Dr. Walliser's words, "This update to the Beyond 100+ strategy reaffirms Bentley's unwavering commitment to evolving. We are responding to the dynamic realities of our world and markets, accelerating our product development to deliver the essence of Bentley's performance and craftsmanship to all our customers. The luxury urban SUV, our first fully electric model, boldly represents our vision for sustainable luxury and technical excellence. With its industry-leading charging performance and unique design, this model heralds a new era defined by innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability."
