Eel-tastic Limited-time Offerings

Highlighting the season's most coveted ingredient—eel—this menu invites guests to experience three distinct dishes. The refreshing uzaku pairs the delicate flavors of eel with crisp cucumbers for a light summer dish. The grilled eel skewers present a casual yet satisfying option, while the stone-grilled eel rice allows diners to first enjoy a crispy texture before savoring it with a special broth in a traditional “hitsumabushi” style. This option is perfect for the season when the heat may dampen appetites, ensuring every bite remains delicious.

Savor the Taste of Bitter Melon

Bitter melon takes center stage as a quintessential summer vegetable, delivered through a variety of dishes ranging from classic to creative. The traditional bitter melon champuru shines with rich flavors, while the crispy bitter melon chips make for a perfect snack. For those craving a kick, the bitter melon chili con carne spring rolls combine spicy flavors and a hint of bitterness for a delightful taste sensation.

Flavorful Delights from Aomori

The fried squid tails, made from Aomori's purple squid, undergo meticulous preparation in-house, where they soak up the fragrant ginger flavor. Known for its tender and plump texture, this seafood option is encased in a crunchy batter, providing a perfect crispiness while the natural flavors burst with each bite. Pair this with a refreshing chilled summer sake for an unbeatable combination.

Limited Edition Organic Vegetables from Watami Farm

This round features the unique organic vegetable, Colin Key pickles—a pumpkin variant known for being edible raw. It delivers a fresh, crunchy taste reminiscent of cucumbers, along with subtle sweetness of pumpkin. In addition, there are crispy fried organic eggplant and grilled whole organic eggplant on offer, with the summer eggplants characterized by their thin skin and juicy texture. A special stir-fried organic water spinach dish highlights the vegetable’s crunchy appeal with a simple salt preparation, complemented by fragrant garlic.

Watami Farm, located in Sanbu, Chiba prefecture, continues its limited-time initiative whereby farm-fresh organic produce is delivered directly to Noren Street, maximizing flavor and freshness. This initiative highlights Watami’s commitment to sustainable practices, allowing guests to enjoy delectable meals while supporting eco-friendly agriculture.
