The Hiroshima Launchpad: North America 2025 is designed to assist local startups in their venture into the North American market with rigorous support, including seminars focused on market research and networking opportunities. Selected companies will engage in various activities, such as seminars and mentoring, alongside a local program in Boston. This comprehensive approach allows participants to gain essential insights into market conditions and build necessary networks for success.

Since 2021, Eight Knot has been conducting trial operations of its autonomous vessels in Hiroshima, all powered by its state-of-the-art navigation platform, the "AI CAPTAIN." The company envisions a future where maritime operations are accessible and safe for everyone, transforming maritime mobility in unprecedented ways. The acceptance into the Hiroshima Launchpad will enable Eight Knot to deepen its understanding of the U.S. market through competitive analysis and facilitate networking aimed at establishing business partnerships and sales channels.

In addition to the Launchpad, Eight Knot is also participating in the "Global Startup Acceleration Program (GSAP)" by JETRO, which further bolsters its preparations for entering the North American market by 2027. Through joint proof-of-concept projects with E-Force Marine in the U.S., the company aims to expedite its entry into a critical and dynamic market.
