Plume Partners with World Liberty Financial to Advance Multichain Plans for USD1 Stablecoin

Plume Partners with World Liberty Financial

On July 1, 2025, Plume Network, recognized as a leading EVM-compatible blockchain, entered a strategic collaboration with the decentralized finance platform, World Liberty Financial (WLFI). This partnership aims to promote the multichain expansion of USD1, a stablecoin that is pivotal for Plume's Real World Assets finance ecosystem (RWAfi).

The announcement follows a successful Genesis mainnet launch by Plume, which demonstrated strong traction with over $250 million in utilized real-world asset (RWA) capital. More than 100,000 wallet holders have already participated, establishing Plume as the leading blockchain by RWA user base. Furthermore, the collaboration is supported by recent engagements in Washington, D.C., where Plume has been working diligently on regulatory compliance, seeking innovation exemption relief for its core offerings from the SEC Crypto Task Force.

As Plume's strategic multichain partner, World Liberty Financial will integrate USD1 as a foundational asset for the pUSD stablecoin within the RWAfi ecosystem. This move signifies a major leap forward in extending beyond the Binance Smart Chain, allowing for more opportunities in accessing institutional-grade real-world asset finance.

Chris Yin, the CEO and co-founder of Plume, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "World Liberty Financial's selection of Plume as their strategic multichain partner further validates our vision for purpose-built RWAfi infrastructure. The integration of USD1 within our ecosystem is set to create immediate avenues for tokenized Real World Assets, unlocking new composability use cases that can transform institutional access to yield-bearing RWA primitives. Partnering with an innovative project like World Liberty is exciting as we enhance crypto operations across the U.S. and meld institutional capital with DeFi."

USD1 is designed to be a stablecoin redeemable at a 1:1 ratio for the U.S. dollar. Backed completely by reserves composed of U.S. government money market funds, deposits, and cash equivalents, USD1 enters a thriving market having grown nearly 54% in the past year alone, now valued at $253 billion. The coin focuses on stability, adopting a more conservative strategy while avoiding complex yield mechanisms, ensuring the required transparency and security for institutional adoption.

Zak Folkman, the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of World Liberty Financial, reinforced the significance of the partnership by stating, "Plume's infrastructure serves as an ideal foundation for USD1, facilitating a bridge between traditional finance and DeFi in a transparent and regulated manner. Our joint efforts will continue to promote accessibility and adoption for both institutional clients and everyday users."

Effective immediately, users on the Plume platform can leverage USD1 within active projects, including the popular staking protocol, Nest. Here, USD1 will unveil new strategies for yield generation and act as stable collateral for managing RWA positions.
