Unique Dining at Grand Hyatt Tokyo
Experience dining like never before at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, where a new level of culinary sophistication is being introduced. From January 13, 2026, for a limited time of three days, the luxurious steakhouse, Oak Door, will unveil its exclusive winter dinner course featuring A5 grade black beef.
Chef's Carving Dinner Course
The highlight of this exquisite dining journey is the Chef's Carving Dinner Course. Guests will be treated to perfectly grilled A5 Wagyu and Miyazaki beef, which is ceremoniously carved right at the table by the chef. This interactive experience not only showcases the chef's skill but also enhances the dining atmosphere. As the knife glides through the beautifully cooked roast, the mesmerizing aroma of charcoal wafts through the air, leaving patrons eager to savor each bite. The sumptuous meat, with its tender rose-colored interior, is best enjoyed without sauces at first, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. The chef recommends enhancing the experience by trying two house-made sauces: a rich red wine sauce and a zesty green pepper sauce.
Accompanying the meat are delectable sides of grilled winter vegetables and creamy aligot potatoes. The aligot potatoes are a gourmet twist on traditional mashed potatoes, enriched with two types of cheese, which makes for an indulgent pairing with wine or beer.
Valentine's Day Special
As Valentine's Day approaches, Grand Hyatt Tokyo presents a romantic three-day dinner that honors the tradition of men treating their partners with gifts and fine dining. The Valentine's Course Special starts with a visually stunning appetizer of strawberries, prosciutto, and creamy stracciatella cheese. This dish perfectly balances sweetness and saltiness, setting a delightful tone for the evening.
Next is a luxurious lobster croquette served with a decadent bisque sauce, boasting rich flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. For the main course, guests will relish tenderloin steak paired with a homemade sauce crafted from red wine and dark chocolate, characterizing a sophisticated dining experience that highlights the steakhouse's expertise.
Finally, the dinner concludes with a warm chocolate fondant dessert that melts in your mouth, epitomizing the romantic essence the evening embodies. To elevate this dining experience, a selection of champagne and wine pairings is curated by the hotel sommelier, seamlessly complementing the flavors of each dish.
