TCL's Bold Vision for the Future at CES 2026
At the CES 2026 event in Las Vegas, TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics and the top brand in Mini LED and ultra-large televisions, showcased its latest innovations that are set to redefine visual technology and smart living. The company's presentation was marked by the launch of cutting-edge AI-driven products aimed at enhancing home entertainment, productivity, and overall living experience.
Introduction of Revolutionary Technologies
TCL has made a significant leap in display technology with its SQD-Mini LED technology, a groundbreaking enhancement in Mini LED performance. By transforming the local dimming zones of conventional Mini LED displays, TCL's new technology allows for precise control of the light across the screen, providing exceptional performance in both bright and dark scenes. This innovation includes their Super QLED technology coupled with an Ultra Color Filter, resulting in longer lifespan, improved color performance, and higher peak brightness. With enhanced global wide color gamut, accurate light control, and a refined appearance, TCL's new offerings promise to elevate the viewing experience.
One of the highlights of the presentation was the unveiling of the world's first television equipped with SQD-Mini LED technology - the TCL X11L. This model achieves nearly 100% wide color gamut for all BT.2020 situations and features the CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra panel for superior color performance. With up to 20,736 precise dimming zones and brightness levels reaching up to 10,000 nits, HDR content appears vibrant and lifelike on the X11L. Additionally, its slim design and nearly bezel-less screen add an aesthetic appeal, complimented by sound technology from Bang & Olufsen for an extraordinary auditory experience.
Enhanced Interactive Features with AI
TCL's collaboration with Gemini for Google TV and the introduction of Dolby Vision 2 brought exciting upgrades that connect users intuitively to their televisions. Building on last year’s debut of the “always-on” Google TV, this year's models offer improved interactions, including enhanced searching capabilities within Google Photos and innovative features such as Nano Banana and Veo. TCL also showcased Dolby Vision 2, designed to deliver exceptional visual experiences through content intelligence and filmic details tailored to the viewer's environment. Updates to support Dolby Vision 2 will be rolled out to TCL's X and C series televisions throughout 2026.
Eye-Care Innovations
In addition to display technologies, TCL emphasized eye-care with its NXTPAPER 70 Pro smartphone featuring NXTPAPER 4.0, designed for all-day eye comfort to alleviate digital eye strain. This smartphone includes a special NXTPAPER Key for smooth cycling through three different display modes. The TCL Note A1 NXTPAPER eNote further enhances the ecosystem with AI-powered productivity tools, providing a reading and writing experience similar to paper, ideal for focus-oriented users. Complementing the commercial display sector, TCL introduced the RayNeo Air 4 Pro – the world’s first HDR10 AR glasses, merging portable viewing with cutting-edge display technology.
Smart Home Solutions
TCL also presented an extensive line of AI-based smart home solutions, aimed at integrating greater intelligence into daily life. Products such as the TCL FreshIN 3.0 AC and GeniusFresh refrigerator, along with the AmeraClassic washer-dryer series and the TCL AI SuperDrum washing machine, exemplify this innovation. Moreover, TCL's smart locks offer advanced biometric security and AI-driven access features, enhancing the control of smart homes. Their integrated AI home energy solutions provide a comprehensive energy management system, reducing costs and increasing efficiency to support a low-carbon lifestyle.
Innovations in Entertainment
TCL leverages AI not just in its devices but throughout the entertainment experience. Its PlayCube projector aims to deliver cinematic image quality in any setting, while the TCL AiMe – the world's first modular AI robot – introduces lifelike interaction in smart living. This signifies TCL's commitment to blending technology and daily living seamlessly.
Shaping Future Households
CES 2026 also highlighted TCL’s forward-thinking design philosophy with the introduction of TCL NXTHOME™, presenting a cohesive blend of smart home solutions and lifestyle appliances, in collaboration with prestigious brands such as Bang & Olufsen and BMW Group Designworks Shanghai Studio. The TCL ECORA™ line, developed with Chris Lefteri Design, features sustainable materials made from recycled porcelain, merging high-performance technology with eco-friendly design.
TCL’s ongoing commitment to innovation in visual technology, AI, and sustainability is shaping a smarter future. As the company continues to pioneer new advancements, its technologies are revolutionizing not only homes but also how individuals live, work, and connect, paving the way for a more intelligent tomorrow.
