Refreshing Summer Delights from Marugen Ramen

As the summer heat sets in, Marugen Ramen, operated by Monogatari Corporation, is ready to help you cool down with their exciting new limited-time offerings! From July 3, 2025, customers at all 225 Marugen Ramen locations across Japan can indulge in two delectable dishes that promise to tantalize taste buds and keep you refreshed during the hottest months of the year.

New Limited-Time Menu Items

Marugen Cold Noodles

One of the highlights is the Marugen Cold Noodles, available for only 830 yen (tax included: 913 yen). This dish features a special broth that combines the umami of katsuobushi (dried bonito) and kombu (sea kelp) with the savory flavor of beef, enhancing each mouthful with complex layers of taste. Topped with a variety of colorful ingredients, this dish offers a satisfying texture and refreshing experience, making it a perfect summer staple.

Spicy Dipping Noodles with Soft-Boiled Egg

Another must-try is the Spicy Dipping Noodles with Soft-Boiled Egg, priced at 950 yen (tax included: 1,045 yen). This dish features a soy sauce-based broth that balances savory and tangy flavors, infused with just the right amount of chili for a spicy kick. Enjoy the tender pork that has been slow-cooked to perfection alongside these rich and flavorful noodles, providing a deliciously light yet satisfying meal even on the hottest summer days.

Details on Availability

Both menu items will be available from July 3, 2025, until mid-September 2025. Please note that prices may vary at certain locations, such as the Kanamachi store, Kawagoe Clair Mall store, Kamitakada store, and Musashi Shinjo store, and some locations might not carry these limited-time items.

Marugen Ramen's Signature Offerings

Marugen Ramen is widely known for its signature dish, Aged Soy Sauce Ramen with Meat. This customer favorite is crafted by simmering servings of pork in a rich, homemade broth, combined with their chewy, high-water content noodles, all topped with yuzu citrus pepper and spring onions. The importance of aged soy sauce, which is a blend of three different types, creates a harmonious blend in the Meat Soba, setting it apart as a unique delicacy in the ramen world. Variations such as the Flavored Egg Meat Soba and Spicy Meat Soba are also popular among loyal fans.

Health-conscious diners can switch to low-carb noodles with a small extra charge, while the numerous vegetable-packed options and health-oriented dishes add to the restaurant's appeal. These factors contribute to the frequent patronage of Marugen Ramen.

Satisfying Side Dishes and More

In addition to the main attractions, flavorful side dishes include Marugen Gyoza, Iron Plate Egg Fried Rice, and crispy Delicious Fried Chicken. Don't forget to treat yourself to their popular Soft Serve Ice Cream after your meal! Marugen Ramen provides ample parking and features a bright, spacious interior with counter, table, and tatami-mat seating—ideal for solo diners or families looking to enjoy a relaxing meal together.
