Tomamae Town Adopts 'e-Machi Platform' for Digital Currency Initiatives

Recently, Tomamae Town in Hokkaido has selected Gifty's 'e-Machi Platform®' as part of its commitment to enhancing local economic activities through digital solutions. Additionally, starting January 2024, Gifty will launch the 'e-Machi Ticket Portal,' a centralized platform that will manage and streamline the use of electronic gift vouchers for residents. This portal enables residents not only to purchase vouchers but also manage their use efficiently, targeting usability and convenience.

The core goal of Tomamae's initiative is to invigorate the local economy by issuing various digital currencies and streamlining their distribution. The town emphasizes evidence-based policymaking (EBPM) to attain sustainable local development through detailed data analysis.
