The Shimbashi and Toranomon neighborhoods are about to embark on a unique culinary venture. Starting on September 29, 2023, a collaboration between local restaurants and innovative startups in the food sector will unveil a selection of original menus crafted from sustainable ingredients. This initiative, led by the Urban Renaissance Agency (UR), in partnership with Sustainable Food Asia Inc., Livness Co., and Goo Choki Partners, is part of an ongoing effort to promote social problem-solving through food.

This project, named 'TORANOMON JUST RIGHT NEW FOOD,' marks its third edition after a successful launch last year. UR has established a framework called 'Foodα,' aimed at fostering a community of various stakeholders dedicated to solving social issues through food. By partnering with local eateries, the program encourages the integration of innovation into everyday dining experiences.

Since the previous edition, in which seven restaurants participated, the current collaboration has expanded to include twelve establishments. This growth allows an even broader audience to access delicious meals that emphasize sustainability and health. The event will not only treat patrons to delectable dishes but also raise awareness regarding environmental responsibility, health, and the future of food sustainability.
