Zoomlion Achieves Significant Milestone in Battery Production



On October 25, 2025, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated a remarkable achievement with the production of its 5,000th energy battery pack in Changsha, China. This milestone is not only a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability but also introduces a new array of essential components aimed at advancing clean energy solutions and high-end equipment electrification.

The completion of the 5,000th unit signifies Zoomlion's progress in developing a comprehensive clean energy ecosystem, integrating key components, system development, and practical applications. One of the key features of this new battery pack is its patented battery management system. This system allows for precise cell monitoring and intelligent charge/discharge control, ensuring stable performance even under extreme weather conditions. With enhanced safety, integration, lifespan, and compatibility, these battery packs are now widely utilized in cranes, concrete equipment, and agricultural machinery.

Lin Yong, General Manager of Zoomlion New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., expressed pride in the performance of the company’s battery packs, stating, "Our energy battery packs are engineered to offer reliability and versatility, boasting a lifespan that is 20% longer than comparable products. They have been successfully implemented in new energy buses and construction machinery, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback."

In conjunction with this milestone in battery production, Zoomlion unveiled a new matrix of key new energy components. This array includes lithium-based solutions, electric propulsion systems, and hydrogen power technology, aligning with the company’s strategy of “comprehensive innovation and compatibility across all scenarios.”

Regarding lithium battery solutions, Zoomlion launched three main series. The first is the hybrid agricultural pack "Xiaoyun," which is fully compatible with a temperature range spanning from -40°C to 60°C.
