Exciting News for Cycling Enthusiasts!
Charichari, a leading bike-sharing service based in Fukuoka, has officially launched its collaboration model with Avispa Fukuoka for the 2025 season. The unique bikes, featuring designs by Avispa Fukuoka's players and their coach, are set to hit the streets of Fukuoka from June 25, 2025.
Charichari aims to be a vital public transportation option, while also focusing on community growth. As a partner in Avispa Fukuoka's social collaboration initiative "Sharen!", Chamichari is actively involved in tackling social issues and revitalizing the local area.
This year's collaboration bikes will showcase designs that celebrate the 30th anniversary of Avispa Fukuoka and encapsulate the spirit of their slogan "TRUE NAVY, TRUE AVISPA." With a strong commitment to boosting Fukuoka's vibrancy, these bikes represent the shared passion of the local community for their football team.
Designing Community Spirit
Each collaboration bike will be adorned with images of all Avispa Fukuoka's top players and coach, along with handwritten safety awareness messages, enhancing both safety and community engagement. Users will be encouraged to support their local team while enjoying their biking experience.
Avispa Fukuoka Supporter Ports
In addition to the bikes, Charichari has introduced the "Avispa Fukuoka Supporter Port,” an original docking station featuring the team’s colors. A portion of the ride revenues generated at this port will support Avispa Fukuoka’s social initiatives alongside their partner companies.
Charichari is also inviting local residents to apply for becoming a port owner. By converting underutilized space into docking stations, residents can support Avispa's community involvement while enjoying the convenience of accessible bike-sharing.
Reason for Popularity
Since its launch in February 2018, Charichari has provided seamless bike-sharing experiences with red bicycles easily accessible via a smartphone app, allowing users to unlock bikes effortlessly. The basic rate is set at 7 yen per minute, while electric-assisted bikes cost 17 yen per minute, making cycling an attractive option for short distances. With over 34 million rides logged, Charichari continues to grow in popularity across various regions including Fukuoka City, Nagoya, and Tokyo.
Charichari Helmets
To ensure safety for riders, Charichari offers certified helmets that easily fit into backpacks, available for purchase at their official online store. The helmets are designed to complement various styles, making them suitable for commuters as well as casual riders. With the purchase of riding tickets, customers can also enjoy special offers.
Join the Movement
With ongoing efforts through "Sharen!" and partnerships with Avispa Fukuoka, Charichari is committed to making urban spaces brighter and more vibrant. Engage with the community, support local initiatives, and make your rides enjoyable!
