The EF Global Speech Contest 2026 (EFGSC2026) is now open for entries! This extraordinary opportunity, hosted by EF Education First Japan, aims to mold the next generation of global leaders. In a world increasingly driven by globalization, language skills alone are no longer enough. The ability to think quickly and articulate one’s thoughts under unpredictable circumstances is becoming invaluable.
Contest Features
This year's contest stands out due to its unique final round format. Contestants will receive a theme on the day of the finals and will have only one hour to prepare their impromptu speeches. This newly crafted approach sets a challenging standard by testing participants on their critical thinking, logical structuring, and persuasive skills in English without any prior preparation. Notable judges from the fields of international education will evaluate the contestants on various criteria.
