A new survey conducted by global learning technology company D2L reveals positive sentiments among U.S. employees regarding the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in their work environments. The findings highlight a collective optimism about AI's power to enhance productivity and streamline operations rather than displace jobs. Although 64% of respondents reported that their employers provide AI resources, only 25% strongly agreed that their companies have a clear strategy for AI application in their roles. Furthermore, just 39% have actively used AI-powered tools over the past one to three years, despite 63% stating that their employers encourage the adoption of AI innovations.

Training is another critical area where employees feel underserved. Although 61% reported having access to formal training on AI, a staggering 58% expressed that they often must navigate AI learning independently, rather than through structured employer-led programs. This disconnect presents an opportunity for organizations to enhance their training initiatives to help workers more effectively integrate AI into their daily functions.
