Reviving Roots: Copa Corporation Launches Gekikopa

Copa Corporation, known for its impressive journey in the world of live sales, is embarking on a new adventure by establishing a theatre group called Gekikopa. This innovative initiative is strongly rooted in the belief of returning to their origins, where the company's journey began in the realm of live demonstrations. At the heart of live sales lies the power of performance—the art of captivating an audience, telling stories, and selling products. This very essence is what links live performance with the world of theatre.

In recent years, however, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of young performers in their twenties taking to the stage. Many talented individuals find themselves at a crossroads between pursuing their dreams or securing a stable livelihood, often choosing to leave the performing arts behind. Gekikopa aims to present an alternative path for these young individuals—a new stage for their expressions through live sales.

The formation of this theatre group symbolizes the fusion of live sales and theatrical performance, creating a dynamic space where the stage nurtures performers, performers are honed through sales, and the sales environment transforms back into a vibrant stage. This cyclical relationship is what Gekikopa aims to cultivate.

First Performance: Atami Murder Case: Monte Carlo Illusion

Kouhei Tsuka's iconic work, Atami Murder Case, serves as the foundation for Gekikopa's inaugural performance, titled Monte Carlo Illusion. This fresh iteration, brought to life by a passionate cast of young actors, aims to deliver a thrilling rendition of Tsuka's well-crafted narrative.

The schedule for the performances spans from October 16 to October 19, 2025, taking place at Senbonzakura Hall located in Meguro, Tokyo. Each day features performances at various times, starting with the inaugural show on October 16 at 7 PM, followed by multiple shows throughout the weekend. Tickets are priced at 4,000 yen for general admission, 3,000 yen for those under 25, and a pair of tickets available for 7,000 yen.

The cast includes notable performers such as Wataru Morita, Hidetaka Tanahashi, Yusaku Nishimura, Miori Yoshida, and Ranger Nose from Copa Corporation. The script is crafted by Kouhei Tsuka himself, while direction is helmed by Shota Inoue.

For those interested in joining, further details about the performance and ticket bookings can be found at Gekikopa Ticket Page. In addition, a crowdfunding campaign is in place through Wakutan to support this exciting venture. For inquiries related to the performance or Gekikopa, please reach out to [email protected].

Gekikopa is set to breathe new life into the performing arts and inspire a new generation of young talent, providing them with both a stage and a new avenue to express their passion. The Gekikopa project embodies the spirit of innovation while honoring the roots of Copa Corporation, making this inaugural event an unmissable experience for theatre lovers everywhere.
