Food Drive Initiatives at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series in Takasaki
The Takasaki Arena will become a hub of compassion and community support on August 29 and 30, 2026, as the Par System Gunma co-op and the professional women's 3x3 basketball team FLOWLISH GUNMA invite attendees to participate in a food drive aimed at aiding those in need. This initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to reduce food waste and tackle social issues in the region.
The food drive, coinciding with the prestigious FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Takasaki 2026, aims to collect unused food items from attendees. The collected items will be sorted and distributed via local food banks, ensuring they reach those who need them most. Notably, there will be special booths at the venue to collect these food donations, with participation from some basketball athletes during select times.
Visitors donating food will also have a chance to participate in a capsule lottery where they can win products from Par System, including exclusive FLOWLISH GUNMA stickers. This engaging approach not only encourages donations but also promotes community spirit and education around food security.
In addition to the food drive, attendees will be treated to tastings of original Par System products, creating a festive atmosphere alongside the crucial work of addressing food wastage. Campaigns will also be organized to introduce friends and family to the cause, promoting the spirit of collaboration and community support.
