Westwell Unveils Smart and Eco-Friendly Cargo Transport Solutions in Paris
On July 7, 2025, Westwell, a leading logistics company harnessing artificial intelligence, unveiled its advanced and sustainable logistics solutions during a special technology showcase at Logicor’s Garonor Park in Paris. The event drew interest from partners and clients, spotlighting Westwell’s pioneering advancements in modern utility vehicles powered by alternative energy sources, battery swapping infrastructure, and autonomous logistics systems.
Logicor, a prominent owner and manager of logistics properties in Europe, provided 1,200 square meters of space in its Paris logistics park for this innovative project. Garonor, situated close to Paris’s city center, primarily serves clients in the distribution and supply chain sectors. During the showcase, Westwell presented a comprehensive suite of advanced logistical technologies, featuring autonomous utility vehicles employing new energy sources, eco-friendly battery swapping stations, and sophisticated software systems. Engaging discussions with participants sought to explore the future of sustainable and intelligent cargo transport in Europe.
The highlight of Westwell’s presentation was the Q-Truck, a fully cabin-free, autonomous electric truck designed for indoor applications. This vehicle is equipped with AI-powered cameras, LiDAR systems, and advanced sensors for environmental detection, positioning, decision-making, and control. With a maximum range of 150 kilometers and a payload capacity of up to 75 tons, the Q-Truck operates continuously, delivering high transportation efficiency.
Each Q-Truck vehicle significantly contributes to environmental sustainability, reducing CO2 emissions by 50 tons per year, a testament to its eco-friendly energy usage. Already deployed across various regions, including the UK, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, and Mexico, it illustrates Westwell's commitment to innovative logistics.
In addition to the Q-Truck, Westwell introduced the E-Truck, an electric-powered smart truck that allows seamless switching between autonomous and manual driving modes. This flexibility provides clients with a cost-effective and efficient pathway toward adopting autonomous driving technology at their own pace.
For logistics applications within factories and warehouses, the Wellbot, a smart logistics robot, was showcased. This robot is engineered for precise sorting, load handling, and intelligent warehouse management. Utilizing multisensor technology and advanced AI models, Wellbot offers accurate cargo identification, autonomous navigation, and fluid coordination with Q-Trucks, optimizing the entire cargo flow between trucks, docks, and warehouses, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
Based on years of operational expertise in various environments, Westwell leverages supply chain data to generate substantial commercial value. The Loopo, an advanced, intelligent, and connected logistics platform developed by Westwell, has been expressly designed to transform multimodal transport operations within warehouse settings and logistics parks. Utilizing cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, the Loopo system provides a holistic solution, seamlessly integrating intelligent docking platforms, automated storage systems, transport management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), predictive transport management systems (PTMS), and advanced traffic management systems.
This showcase is not just a technological trial; it signifies promising international collaboration with significant market expansion potential. Recent information indicates that a proof-of-concept has been implemented within the innovative demonstration area at Garonor Park, proving the effectiveness of the solutions. Looking ahead, Westwell plans further technical validations and joint initiatives with Logicor to intensify market promotion, delivering tailored, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly logistics services to European clients.
Kay Yang, CEO of Westwell Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, emphasized the importance of collaborating with Logicor in the international expansion history of Westwell. Leveraging this new global innovation platform, they aim to accelerate the commercialization of their solutions across global markets and enrich their service offerings.
Laurent Dubos, Country Manager of Logicor in France, expressed pleasure in supporting Westwell by providing a space for testing and demonstrating innovative programs that benefit their clients and assist them in reducing their environmental impact.
