Celebrating 20 Years of MG Stationery at the BFA Conference in China
Celebrating Two Decades of Innovation in Stationery
The annual Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2026 opened on March 24th in Hainan, China, with the theme "Shaping a Common Future – New Dynamics, New Opportunities, New Cooperation." This prestigious conference marks a significant milestone not only for Asia but also for the stationery industry, where Shanghai MG Stationery Inc. has made its mark for over 20 years.
Since 2005, MG Stationery has been the official supplier of stationery products for this forum, consistently delivering high-quality and professional supplies that meet the expectations of international leaders and guests.
More than just a supplier, MG Stationery has become a symbol of innovation and excellence in the industry. President Chen Huxiong was once again invited to participate in this event, joining government and business leaders from around the globe.
A Cohesive Collection Inspired by Art
This year, MG introduced a co-branded collection developed in partnership with the renowned artist, Florence Bamberger. The collection’s cosmic theme is evident in the celestial designs adorning a variety of products including writing utensils, notebooks, pencil cases, and backpacks. This premium stationery set provides a glimpse into the artistry and craftsmanship of one of China's leading stationery brands.
Commitment to Sustainability
In line with the forum's commitment to sustainable development, MG Stationery also unveiled its Eco+Office series. This new collection is designed for workplace use, integrating recycled plastics to reduce emissions right from the source. Emission data from these products are calculated according to international ISO 14067 standards and are verified through a comprehensive life cycle assessment of their carbon footprints.
MG is dedicated to encouraging more environmentally conscious choices through everyday office products.
As the first publicly traded stationery company in China to issue an ESG report, MG continues to enhance its sustainability initiatives. The company recently received a 'B' rating from CDP 2025 for its efforts toward climate change mitigation. Additionally, MG is featured in the 2026 SP Global Sustainability Yearbook, being the only company from mainland China to receive such recognition.
Innovation and Recognition
With over 30 years of experience in the stationery sector, MG invests more than 100 million yuan each year in research and development, boasting over 1,400 patents. The company’s products have garnered accolades from some of the world’s most prominent industrial design competitions.
Recognized as one of the largest producers of stationery globally, MG has made it into the top 500 most valuable brands in China for eight consecutive years as per World Brand Lab, holding a brand value of 25.655 billion yuan.
