DePauw University has proudly unveiled its ambitious fundraising initiative titled Bold, Gold & You!, aiming for a remarkable $575 million. This endeavor marks the largest campaign in the university's 188-year history, showcasing a pivotal moment in its journey towards a brighter future. Co-chaired by distinguished alumni Carrie Melind Coquillette and Ken Coquillette, both from the class of 1982, the campaign is set to revolutionize the academic experience, fortify institutional resources, and significantly boost DePauw's global influence.

As of now, DePauw has successfully raised $285 million towards the impressive goal, boasting significant support from a diverse group of donors. This funding will principally service the university's endowment and support various strategic priorities that enhance the student experience. A standout feature of the campaign is a record-setting lead gift of $150 million received in 2024, ensuring a solid foundation for future efforts.

The vision for the Bold, Gold & You! campaign is closely tied to DePauw’s strategic plan, DePauw Bold Gold 2027, emphasizing four critical areas:

1. Enhancement of Student Experience: DePauw is aiming for $172 million to foster a more vibrant campus life. This will involve upgrading housing facilities, expanding study abroad options, and enriching internship and research opportunities, alongside cultivating a thriving athletic culture.

2. Innovative Three-School Model: The campaign aspires to raise $116 million for the innovative three-school framework that merges liberal arts education with business leadership and creativity. This initiative aims to equip students with the skills necessary to thrive as leaders and innovators both within and beyond DePauw's community.

3. Scholarship Accessibility: A commitment to raise $150 million for scholarships underlines DePauw's dedication to ensuring that all talented students have the opportunity to pursue their education at the university, regardless of financial constraints. The campaign aims to expand The DePauw Promise, remove barriers, enhance financial aid, and attract exceptional scholars.

4. Support for Faculty Excellence: With a target of $93 million, funds will be used to attract, retain, and empower outstanding faculty and staff, who are crucial in driving academic innovation and inspiring students for future success.
