Huawei's Vision for the Intelligent World by 2035
On September 17, 2026, Huawei held an online event to present its latest research reports centered around the theme "Act Today. Shape Tomorrow." At this event, Huawei introduced two critical documents:
Intelligent World 2035: Turning Vision into Action and the
Global Digitalization and Intelligence Index 2026. The report anticipates that by 2035, global annual token consumption will surge by 100,000 times, with over 90% of traffic generated by intelligent agents. In response to these developments, the report outlines ten strategic directives aimed at forging an intelligent future:

The report, informed by experts in economics, sociology, and ICT, estimates that AI will generate more than $27 trillion in total economic value over the next five years, with global investments in digital and smart infrastructures expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.14%, exceeding $4 trillion by 2030. It further redefines the main productivity factors for the digital and intelligent economy as data, ICT skills, and intelligent digital technologies, underscoring that the integration of networks, computing power, and storage systems is essential for enhancing various sectors' transformation and modernization.
