JPI Seminar on Disaster Prevention Agency Establishment
On March 30, 2026, from 13:30 to 15:30, the Japan Planning Institute (JPI) will host a seminar focusing on discussions surrounding the establishment of a Disaster Prevention Agency. The seminar will highlight practical models of public-private collaboration in disaster management. Renowned expert Kiyotaka Eguchi, who serves as a specialist in the Cabinet Office’s preparation advisory meeting for the Disaster Prevention Agency, will lead the discussions.
Seminar Overview
This seminar is particularly relevant given the increasing frequency of severe disasters. In today’s world, emergency responses cannot solely rely on government actions.
