JT Express Sees Massive Growth in Q2 2025 with 65.9% Increase in Southeast Asia

JT Express Achieves Record Parcel Volume in Q2 2025

J&T Global Express Limited, known as JT Express, reported impressive figures for the second quarter of 2025, making waves in the logistics industry. The company handled approximately 7.39 billion parcels, marking a notable 23.5% year-on-year increase. With an average daily volume of 81.2 million parcels, JT Express continues to define itself as a leading logistics service provider across sectors.

In Southeast Asia, particularly astonishing growth was noted, with parcel volume reaching around 1.69 billion—a staggering 65.9% increase year-on-year. This surge represents the fastest single-quarter growth the company has seen since its public listing, alongside an average daily volume of 18.5 million parcels. During the first half of 2025, the company's Southeast Asian operations also thrived, growing by 57.9% to approximately 3.23 billion parcels.

These accomplishments stem from robust partnerships with major e-commerce platforms and local brands, which spurred mutual growth. A comprehensive range of promotional initiatives and expanded product offerings from various e-commerce platforms significantly elevated business volume. Positioned as an independent enabler for e-commerce, JT Express has adeptly seized growth opportunities in Southeast Asia's burgeoning e-commerce landscape. The firm's emphasis on high-quality, cost-effective services has further solidified its dominance in the market.

In tandem with these operational feats, JT Express is committed to expanding its infrastructure throughout Southeast Asia. As of June 30, 2025, the company increased its network of service points by 700, bringing the total to 10,500 locations. Additionally, the fleet of line-haul vehicles expanded by 800, totaling 5,400 units. These strategic moves greatly enhance the company's parcel handling capabilities, ensuring it can accommodate the increasing volume of packages effectively.

Turning to the Chinese market, JT Express has adopted a steady development approach. It has pursued a strategy to optimize its customer base and adapt operational tactics in response to market shifts. This careful management resulted in a 14.7% year-on-year growth in parcel volume, reaching 5.61 billion parcels—with an average daily volume of 61.7 million. In the first half of the year, parcel volume in China increased by 20% to around 10.6 billion.

Within China, JT Express has also aligned itself with local industries, supporting sectors like the toy industry in Chenghai during peak seasons with specialized services, ultimately surpassing an impressive 200,000 parcels daily from a single outlet.

Furthermore, JT Express has seen a rise in parcel volume from new markets, totaling 89.4 million in Q2, which reflects a 23.7% increase year-on-year. As the company anticipates sustained growth in these areas, it plans to deploy automated solutions in regions such as Latin America—an area ripe for development.

The logistics provider's ongoing investments in infrastructure not only aim to support expanding operational volumes but also enhance efficiency across all sectors. JT Express has notably increased its total number of automated sorting machines to 337, with the majority of these stationed in China.

Charles Hou, Group Vice President of JT Express, emphasized the company's successful performance, highlighting Southeast Asia's remarkable growth rate and reaffirming JT's commitment to continuous investment in infrastructure. Looking forward, the logistics leader intends to strengthen its foothold in various markets while enhancing operational efficiency and service quality, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of its customers in an expanding logistics landscape.

Established in 2015, JT Express has rapidly become a key player in the global logistics market, extending its reach across thirteen countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Its mission is to connect the world efficiently through solutions driven by intelligent infrastructure and a digital logistics network. As it moves forward, JT Express is determined to deliver even more reliable logistics services globally.
