Digital Gear to Showcase at OffKai EXPO

This premier VTuber convention will take place from July 24 to 26, 2026, in San Jose, California, marking a significant milestone as North America’s largest VTuber-centric event.

The OffKai EXPO has reached its fifth iteration this year, proudly establishing itself as the first and largest convention fully dedicated to showcasing VTubers as the main attraction. Last year, the event saw over 5,000 attendees, a number that surpassed expectations, and this year, an even larger turnout is anticipated.

Fundamentally supported by a collaborative effort of fans, friends, and convention operators across various fandoms, the convention is completely volunteer-run, driven by pure passion. It aims to celebrate and educate about digital and virtual art subcultures, technology, history, and performance art, positioning itself as a project focused on cultural enrichment rather than just commercial interests.

The Digital Gear Booth and Events

At the Digital Gear Booth, visitors can expect an exciting schedule of events including V祭LIVE in OffKai EXPO, hosted by the VTuber platform V祭. Digital Gear has created a space where VTubers and fans can connect, promoting a vibrant community environment. 14 VTuber acts are scheduled to participate in live performances and meet-and-greet sessions every day during the convention.

These live events will be broadcasted directly from Digital Lab Studio, our state-of-the-art motion capture studio. Additionally, merchandise sales will be taking place at the booth, offering an exciting opportunity for attendees to engage further. For fans across Japan who can’t attend in person, the events will also be live-streamed on YouTube, appealing to those who wish to join the festivities remotely, even during the overnight hours in Japan.
