This year marks a significant milestone—the
100th anniversary of the donation of cherry blossoms from Japan to Philadelphia. To honor this enduring friendship, the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) and Subaru of America, Inc. have curated an unforgettable festival that promises to enchant visitors of all ages.
For those unfamiliar, cherry blossoms hold deep significance in Japanese culture. They symbolize the beauty and fragility of life, making the festival not just a treat for the eyes, but a profound cultural experience. With over 25,000 attendees last year, expectations are high for another impressive turnout this spring.

The festival will be packed with a plethora of activities that celebrate Japanese arts and culture. Highlights include:

cultural performances on two stages, including the
Main Stage and the exciting new
Tomadachi Stage.

Golden Crown New Year's Mummers Brigade will perform their vibrant 2026 theme:
