Lucid Announces Plans for Its First Retail and Service Locations in France

Lucid Group's Expansion into France: A New Era for Electric Mobility

Lucid Group, Inc., renowned for its cutting-edge software-defined vehicles, is set to unveil its first retail and service centers in France by the first quarter of 2027. This marks a significant step in Lucid's strategy to deepen its roots in the French market, aiming to establish more than 16 partner sites by the end of 2027.

A Strategic Move into the French Market

The decision to open retail and service centers in France comes as part of Lucid's broader plan to cater to the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe. Lawrence Hamilton, President of Lucid for Europe, stated that France represents a crucial market for the company. The new locations will not only showcase the exceptional vehicles offered by Lucid, such as the highly acclaimed Lucid Gravity and Lucid Air, but also ensure a premium customer experience in sales and after-sales service.

The First Centers: What to Expect

Initially, Lucid will roll out three centers, which are nearing the final stages of planning. These facilities will provide potential customers with the opportunity to explore and order the award-winning Lucid Gravity and Lucid Air. Reservations for these vehicles are already open on Lucid’s French website, enabling early enthusiasts to secure their priority for orders once they commence.

The Lucid Gravity, which was named the luxury car of the year for 2026, emphasizes a blend of spaciousness and versatility typical of high-end SUVs while delivering the remarkable performance and efficiency that Lucid is known for. With a range of up to 739 kilometers based on the WLTP cycle and an ultra-fast charging capability, it promises to redefine luxury in the SUV segment.

The Lucid Air, on the other hand, sets new benchmarks for efficiency and performance within the EV market. Its WLTP range can reach up to 960 kilometers with peak power of 1,251 PS, all encompassed in a sleek, aerodynamic design. Such capabilities highlight Lucid's commitment to innovation in electric mobility.

Partnership with Emil Frey France

To further enhance its service offerings, Lucid has partnered with Emil Frey France, a key player in the automotive market. Pierre Guignot, General Manager of Emil Frey France, expressed pride in supporting Lucid's entry into the French marketplace. He emphasized that the innovative products and technologies from Lucid will set new standards for electric mobility experiences. This partnership aims to deliver seamless ownership journeys for Lucid customers, ensuring top-notch support throughout their interactions with the brand.

As Lucid gears up for this significant expansion, the company is looking to launch vehicle orders in France during the first quarter of 2027.
